The Genesis V laser is designed to promote a healthy, youthful appearance over the face and neck area through a series of non-invasive treatments that gently warm the skin and underlying tissues. During a procedure, the Genesis V handpiece is moved around the treatment area just above the skin’s surface. The heat that it generates stimulates collagen tightening and collapses dilated capillaries in the underlying tissues of the dermis, resulting in diminished appearance of visible pores, fine wrinkles, and redness, along with a noticeable improvement in overall skin tone and texture. There are very few side effects associated with this treatment, the most common being a mild redness that disappears within a few hours. With the use of sunscreen, patients should be able to resume normal activities the same day. We use the Genesis V laser system to treat the following:
